Café Mélange opened its doors on April 13th introducing a variety of new European flavours to the Kootenay Co-op’s Deli.

“Baking and cooking has been a passion of mine since I was a wee little one living in Switzerland. Such a huge passion in fact, that one day my dad lost it on me because I had used up everything we had in the fridge for one of my usual crêpe experiments... “

A little wiser and maybe even a bit more economical today, Myriam, owner and operator of Café Mélange, combines her passion with a long-lived dream to treasure her childhood memories by giving everyone an opportunity to `taste a piece of Europe` .

Café Mélange carefully selects the finest quality ingredients and always uses organic and fair trade products when available.
