True Local Thanksgiving


We are Thankful!

At the Kootenay Co-op, we have a lot to be thankful for – the unique community that supports our food co-operative; the makers, bakers, and growers we all count on for our nourishment; and the water, air, and soil that connect us all.

We wish to extend a very Happy Thanksgiving to the more than 140 True Local Suppliers who make our store and foodshed such a vibrant place. We extremely grateful for your dedication, talent, and passion, and of course, for your exceptional products! Your hard work helps to protect our environment and foodlands, enriches our local economy, builds our sense of community, and brings the most unique, delicious and healthful products into our homes. Thank you all, for all that you do!

Kettle River Farm is a small family farm stewarded by Nancy, Owen and their children. We will have their Pie Pumpkins, Squash and Onions in store.

Tyler and Sasha at Cutter Ranch and Wendy and Dale at Kootenay Natural Meats are dedicated to raising healthy, happy animals on pasture. We have Cutter Ranch hams and Kootenay Natural turkeys for your feast.
