Cacao – Bean to Bar

Discover the authentic and historical practice of chocolate making from cacao bean to chocolate bar. Chef Jo-Anne Schultz will introduce you to cacao beans and cover the entire chocolate-making process from raw cacao bean to delicious chocolate bar. Discover the ancient practice of preparing the cacao beans to molding the finished chocolate into treats. This can all be done at home with a few simple implements. Keep busy with hands-on opportunities, observations, sniffs and tastes and at the end of this one-of-a-kind experience, you’ll leave with a small recipe book, some chocolates you made and ability to make a small batch of chocolate at home.

$30 for members and $35 for non-members
Includes demonstration, recipe book, chocolate to take home
