50 Years Your Co-op
What a week. Our 50th birthday was more than just a milestone – it was a celebration of the people, partnerships, and purpose that make the Co-op what it is. From the bustling energy of our True Local Demo Faire to the sun-drenched street party filled with music, cake, and connection, we were overwhelmed by the love and support you brought. And behind the scenes, we gathered with our True Local suppliers for an intimate evening of gratitude, great food, and shared stories. Below, you’ll find photos from both celebrations – each one a snapshot of the community that continues to shape us.
True Local Faire + Birthday Party
On June 20th, the Co-op came alive with 27 True Local suppliers, live music, giveaways, and a whole lot of cake. Our members showed up in full force, filling the street and store with joy and community spirit. Here’s a look at the day that reminded us just how special this place really is.
True Local Dinner
Earlier in the week, we hosted a special dinner at the Rod and Gun Club to thank our incredible True Local producers. Chef Kyle Dampsy of The Block crafted a beautiful meal featuring True Local ingredients, and we shared laughter, reflections, and a deep sense of appreciation. As a surprise, we also displayed the heartfelt postcards you submitted – messages of gratitude that lit up the room and reminded everyone why their work matters. Here’s a glimpse into the evening that celebrated the people who help our community thrive.
