Maggie Jones
Maggie Jones has been passionately involved in the natural foods movement all of her adult life. As an avid gardener and beekeeper, Maggie’s love of food has inspired her to teach people to cook delicious and nourishing meals for over 35 years. She is committed to organically grown foods whenever possible and believes in supporting local food systems.
Colleen Emery
Colleen Emery is a Clinical Herbalist, Educator and Medicine Maker as well as the founder of Emery Herbals. She is passionate about empowering individuals and families to take charge of their wellness through fostering traditional skills, understanding the wonderful world of herbs, and strengthening your connection to the natural world.
Coco Seitz
Coco, the founder of Mama’s Dumplings and an immigrant from Jilin, China, has a strong desire to share her heritage and culture with her new community. Inspired by her Grandmother’s dumpling recipe, Coco started Mama’s Dumplings and since 2014 has been serving authentic Northern Chinese style dumplings throughout the Kootenays.
Toby Hana Lucas
Toby Hana Lucas is a fully trained Kundalini yoga teacher and Reiki Master. Toby has been teaching for over 15 years, and has specialized in holistic healing since 2013. In 2018 she started Born to Bloom, an organization focused on creating harmony within oneself. She currently offers interactive aromatherapy workshops, medium readings, breathwork classes and weekly aroma yoga sessions from her Mountain Sanctuary Studio near Nelson, BC. Toby is also fluent in American Sign Language and can provide services to Deaf and hard of hearing individuals.
