Let’s Get Together!
Join your Co-op Management team and members from your Board of Directors for a Town Hall style meeting where we can gather and talk about all things Co-op!
When: Wednesday November 9th, 2022. Doors open at 5pm, meeting will be from 5:30-7:30pm
Where: In-person at the Prestige Lakeside in Nelson or from the comfort of your home online. We are going to be hosting a hybrid style meeting so that those who can’t make it in-person can also join the conversation.
To kick off the meeting there will be few short presentations followed by Q+A. Here is a bit of what you can expect to hear from us right off the bat,
- An update on the GM hiring process and the role of the Board at your Co-op
- What it means to own your grocery store – presented by Jon Steinman
- An overview on our store buying guidelines and buying committee
- Sustainability at your Co-op
- Member engagement
Your questions are what this meeting is all about, so when you register, please make sure to include any questions you’ve been hoping to ask or additional topics you’d like to see covered at this meeting. Register for the Town Hall before November 1st you will be entered to win one of three $50 gift cards to your Co-op. The draw will be held at the Town Hall and you need to be present to win.
The Town Hall is for members only, however you are welcome to bring anyone from your household – just make sure you let us know in your registration so we have enough seats for everyone.
