Your Co-op turns 50 this year and we can’t wait to celebrate with you!

Our 50 years have taken us from a small buying club in the Slocan Valley to the largest natural and organic focused food co-op in Canada. That is no small feat – the passion, dedication and hard work of so many has got us to where we are today. The support of our members is the backbone of our Co-op and why we are here to celebrate 50 years.

Join us in celebrating our incredible community this month with sales, giveaways and events. This is a celebration of our roots and a kick off to our next 50 years as your community-owned grocery store.

It’s a True Local take-over! 20+ vendors are spilling onto the street, greenspace, and sidewalk. Come meet your suppliers and sample their goods June 20, 11am–3pm.

It wouldn’t be a birthday without a party! Come by on Friday June 20th – we will have giveaways, prizing and a BBQ by donation for our organization of the month. And yes – there will be cake!

Our Co-op wouldn’t be what it is without the support of our member-owners. So mark your calendars, Thursday May 22nd is Member Appreciation Day. On this day, you’ll receive 10% off your entire shop* and yes – that discount stacks on top of any sale items too! We’ll also be outside running a BBQ by donation for our Organization of the Month, offering up prizing, giveaways and some tasty house-made treats. We can’t wait to see you!
