Typically used as a crumble in fancy salads or as a topping on appetizers, blue cheese can be overlooked when it comes to more “every day” uses. Well not anymore!

Blue Cheese + Honey Avocado Toast


2 slices of sourdough bread

1 avocado, thinly sliced or mashed

1/4 cup blue cheese, sliced thin or crumbled

1 pear, sliced

Pecans, toasted

sunflower seeds or hemp seeds

Honey, drizzled to taste


Toast the sourdough bread
Layer avocado, pear + blue cheese on top of toasted sourdough
Top with nuts or seeds and drizzle with honey
