Join chef Rahul Joshi and learn the history behind and how to prepare the most famous North Indian curry, Murgh Makhani, more commonly known as Butter Chicken. In addition to learning how to make an authentic Butter Chicken, we will also be making a classic North Indian layered flatbread known as Lachha Paratha; cooked on a traditional flat top with ghee (clarified butter).
Originally from North India, Rahul went to chef’s school and started cooking professionally in his home state of Haryana. As chef Rahul write’s “cooking is something which makes my soul happy…I believe that being in the kitchen is similar to driving. Recipes, like maps, can guide you to explore new and exciting areas!” Rahul is now the head chef for Finley’s Bar & Grill and Sage’s here in Nelson.
An included communal meal will be shared in at the end of class.
