curry chronicles: mastering the art of of curries

Join us and chef Rahul Joshi for this exciting 4-part series exploring Indian Cuisine. From pakoras to tandoori, curries and desserts, over 4 weeks we’ll explore cooking a full course Indian meal from appetizers to desserts. Attend classes individually or all four – register + attend all 4 classes will receive a $30 in-store gift card ($7.50 off each class for members)

Learn how to perfect your curry cooking skills in this third part of our Indian cooking series. Chef Rahul shares his secrets, and will teach the class how to make flavoured rice + sauces, as well as a Tikka Masala that will have your mouth watering.

With a background in fine dining back in his home country of India and previous experience working in a leading 5 Star hotel restaurant, Rahul Joshi is currently the Head Chef for Finley’s Bar & Grill and Sage Tapas & Wine Bar. His culinary expedition has been a diverse and enriching one. Throughout the years, Rahul has explored various cuisines, embracing different cooking methods. Rahul is passionate about creating culinary masterpieces that bring joy to the soul. For him, cooking is like driving — a skill that, once acquired, opens endless possibilities. He believes that recipes are like maps, guiding you to your desired culinary destination. Rahul is ready to embark on a flavorful journey through all his class offerings at the Kootenay Co-op.
